Ok... Its been a week since I posted, but for good reason. This has been one of the busiest weeks I can remember. Here's what happened since my last post.
Thursday 2/3: Colonoscopy AND endoscopy (figured since I was there might as well check from my mouth to my stomach as well). I really hope they did the endoscopy first! Everything as of right now is all good. Have to call to get my biopsy results on the 15th. Business meeting at the FD, then Robbie came over for some drinks and guitar lessons
Friday 2/4: Shower preparation. Had to help the girls get all the last minute stuff. Went and picked up all the round tables, cleaned the entire driveway (it was all ice). Got a great workout out of it though. Also went to 4 or 5 fire calls. Mikey's basketball game that night, which they blew in the last minute as usual. Then Kristine's cousin and his wife came in from Michigan for the weekend. We got some beverages and just hung out until a little after midnight. *Congrats to them as we later found out she is due in August!*
Saturday 2/5: Shower day... Went and made some quick $$ early, then got home by 9:15 to go set up. About 10 people set-up for almost 2 hrs to get this thing going... and it looked awesome. I think all the ladies there had a great time. Once set-up was completed, the guys all came back to the house for sandwiches, pizza and beer. College basketball was watched and ping-pong was played. It was a very manly afternoon. Then, it was back out to tear down and pick up all the gifts (all in a nasty snowstorm). After we came back to the house to unload everything and take the tables and caterers stuff back, about 12 or so people were over for dinner (delicious leftovers from the shower). Another night of good conversation and cribbage!
Sunday 2/6: Got up and made some Waffles and Eggs, not too shabby if I do say so myself. Chris and Brittany got going early so they could get back home before the Super Bowl. Its always great to see them, we always have a great time together. We started putting some baby stuff together before the big game, but before we knew it, people were startin to show up. It was a highly successful party. We had about 25 people come and go, with 18 or so staying from beginning to end. 2 highly contested games of LCR kept us entertained during halftime (which was a good thing bc the Black Eyed Peas sucked!). Kristy took home the prize of $36. Not too bad. The food was fatastic, thanks to everyone who brought some delicious appetizers.
Monday 2/7: Worked. I was hoping for some rest, but it was Monday, so that wasn't gonna happen. We did watch "Machete" and I highly suggest you see it if you like movies such as From Dusk til Dawn, Grindhouse, Deathproof, Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Then I went to bed at 10:30 and slept all night!
Tuesday 2/8: Doctor Appt for Kristine, followed by a meet and greet with our soon to be Pediatricians. Its nice to have all of these things taken care of early, seeing as this baby is due in 42 days! Then we went to the gym for some cardio. Then home to go through all of the baby stuff. 5 hours later, we went to Mikey's basketball game. He had a sweet dunk on a missed layup. He came flying in, grabbed the ball off the rim and threw it down, effortlessly! He also did not hang on the rim and get a technical foul... so good job on that!
Today 2/9: Work for 12 hours
Tomorrow 2/10: Work for 24 hours
Ok, that was a lot of writing. Next time I get a chance to post, I will put more pictures with less words. Until next time...

Impending Colonoscopy
Yes, I am having another colonoscopy tomorrow. So, in true Jimmy form, I will make a list of pros and cons to this often criticized procedure. Most men don't have their first colonoscopy until they are 50. I just turned 30... I'll be a pro by 50
Pros:
1. Hopefully I will find out what is wrong with me
2. Versed + Fentanyl = Happy times
3. After tonight, my colon and stomach will be COMPLETELY clean
Cons:
1. I ate last night at 8:00 pm & will not eat again until tomorrow after 1:00 pm
(Thats 41 hours for those of you counting)
2. Drinking the 64 ounces of pure disgust and 2 hours of sitting on the toilet
3. Waking up after the procedure, knowing that a long tube and camera have
been in your butt and you dont remember any of it
Oh well, kind of a double edge sword as of right now... I want them to find something so I can get treated, but I don't want them to find anything bc I don't want there to be anything wrong with me. But if they don't find anything, THEN what do I do? Update to follow this week.

A Little Light Reading
Trust me... you want to read this artlicle. And by article, I'm only talking about the first 2 paragraphs. Congratualtions to Jason for becoming chief. Appartently Eaton Township is about to find out what we in BW and CF have known for years!
