Five's Top 5

I would like to hear from everyone who reads this entry... won't take long... i promise. Just think of your 5 favorite movies and type them in list form in the comments section. Scotty had requested this about 2 weeks ago, so here they are, in particular order:

#5 Animal House & National Lampoon's Vacation- These were tied for 5th place because I couldn't chose which one was my favorite comedy. Both National Lampoon in nature, they provide hilarious views of college life and family life. With quotable quotes around every corner, they are staples for generations to come

#4 The Silence of the Lambs & The Shining- The original, and still the best of the 4 movies they have made based off the premise of Hannibal Lecter. A great psychological thriller. I remember watching this movie alone one night at age 12. Took me a couple of years to watch it again By far Anthony Hopkins most memorable role. "Goodbye Horses" can never be listened to the same way ever again. The Shining also came in 4th place because it was equally as good a Psychological Thriller, plus I'm a huge Stanley Kubrick fan...

#3 Forrest Gump- I was fascinated with this movie the first time I saw it. The amount of different historical references they tie Forrest to in this movie is absolutely incredible. Every time I watch it I can find different references. I wish I could remember anything the way I have the lines in this movie. I swear I have a photographic memory for all the wrong shit.

#2 The Boondock Saints- Absolute Cult Classic. I don't know where to begin. A great story line that makes you wish you could be just like them. Complete with endless one-liners, interesting ways to kill mob members, and more F-bombs than you can imagine. This is truly THE Cult Classic my generation.

#1 The Shawshank Redemption- Steven King makes his second appearance on the list with the #1 flick on my list. Absolute classic from beginning to end. Another movie that I nearly have memorized. I don't have anything else to say, this movie is just awesome
