It's been a few days since I've written any gripes... but this one has been bothering me for quite some time. Runners who run on the street when there are perfectly good sidewalks available. Our town streets are narrow enough... we don't need these people taking up any more of the road than is already necessary for safe driving.
What is the purpose of this? I would really like an explanation. It only seems like common sense that a sidewalk is much safer than the road. We have a lot of streets that are not well lit and A LOT of roads with blind curves where I live. I don't care that you run on the road, but when I, or some other innocent driver runs you over because we can't see you... guess who gets blamed? F*** you and the black spandex suit you are wearing to make you feel thinner than you really are. And why black... in the early hours of the morning with no reflective clothing whatsoever?
I know why you run... so you can justify the pizza you ate for dinner the night before, or the fifth of vodka you are going to drink tonight when you go back to your loveless, pathetic life. Just keep burning those empty calories fatty. And don't come crying to me when someone bumps your fat ass into a ditch while you're out for your morning jog
